Littlefield Oil Company was established in 1946 in Booneville, Arkansas by brothers A.B. and W.C. Littlefield, and their spouses. Littlefield Oil started as a bay station which served Logan County, Arkansas communities with car service and fuel.  Not long after, however, the Littlefield family realized that people in surrounding communities also needed a competitive fuel source.  They purchased a single fuel transport truck and began selling wholesale fuel to surrounding counties.  This was the beginning of Littlefield Oil Company.

During the height of a very successful racing career, Mark Martin decided to pursue another dream. To own a Ford dealership and he really wanted the one in his home town.

In 2004, Mark Martin and Lance Landers became partners and purchased the Ford dealership in Batesville Arkansas. That was the beginning of Mark Martin Ford. In 2006, the new Ford dealership was built in a new location and with a "one of a kind" attraction, housing the Mark Martin Museum and Gift Shop. Mark wanted a place to share with his fans. It was time to bring it all home.

Mark set his high standard of excellence and winning in developing a place where folks would have unexpected selection, state-of-the-art service, with a friendly, professional team. In just over 10 years, the business grew adding 4 new locations and franchises for Kia, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram, in three cities.

Mark Martin Automotive hosts the largest selection of new and pre-owned vehicles in North Central Arkansas. With locations in Batesville, Melbourne, and Ash Flat.

The state-of-the art museum features several of Martin's past cars, including the No. 6 Viagra Coca-Cola 600 win car, the '90 Folgers Thunderbird, the No. 60 Win Dixie Busch car, Martin's 2005 IROC car that he used to win his record fifth championship, and the '89 Stroh's Thunderbird. Each car is a part of a display that includes hi-tech mantrons that tell the story of each piece of history.

The museum also has on display a variety of other memorabilia, including several of Martin's past race helmets and historic firesuits. There are also several personal photo books on display that chronicle Martin's early success, as well as thousands of pictures and newspaper articles that show Martins climb from local dirt track sensation to NASCAR legend.
