Regional child care resource and referral agency. We assist parents in finding child care. We also give technical assistance and training for child care providers.

Mission: To empower, protect, and heal victims of child abuse.

The Children's Advocacy Center of Independence County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was established in 2017 and began serving children in November 2018. The center is the 17th CAC in the state of Arkansas and provides coverage for Independence, Izard, Stone, Sharp, and Fulton counties.

Child Advocacy Centers were formed to decrease trauma in child abuse victims and increase prosecution success. Through a multidisciplinary team approach, all agencies involved in the case can work together to provide the child and family with a more child centered approach to cases.

Any child abuse allegation that is called into the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline or local law enforcement can be brought to the CAC, so the staff can provide services alongside the investigative agency.

The agency is funded through community support, grants, and foundation support. All services are free to children and families.

At MOPS, we believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups like yours rally women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another.

Our hearts beat fast for the mom who doesn’t know about the love and redemption found in Jesus. We want MOPS to be a place where this mom – and a million moms just like her – feels like she is already part of the conversation. A place where she doesn’t need to know any inside lingo but where she can find glimmers of hope and goodness in a non-threatening manner. We want her to know that Jesus loves her and that he is what she has been searching for.

Get to know what MOPS is all about, what we believe and why we want you to join us on our journey to changing the lives of a million moms.
